When some event is called \u201cinevitable\u201d, it\u2019s usually because, well, it is. That means, of course, it\u2019s true if the word is used accurately, and not as hyperbole.<\/p>\n

Back in January, my AmeriNZ Podcast made the featured Personal Journals podcast page on iTunes USA. I knew that it inevitably would fall off, but I had no idea how long that would take.<\/p>\n

On July Fourth, not quite six months later, it dropped off the featured page (just) and onto the regular page one.<\/p>\n

There are two reasons for this. First, Oprah has a \u201cpodcast\u201d that\u2019s inappropriately categorised as a \u201cpersonal journal\u201d when it\u2019s anything but. The other reason is my recent feed change, which I knew would cause all kinds of havoc. I was right.<\/p>\n

However, my new podcast feed (by \u201cArthur the AmeriNZ\u201d) is on page two, and is now in the main \u201cNew and Notable\u201d section, so my album art is still visible to anyone who gets to that section (it\u2019s also on the main \u201cNew and Notable\u201d section for the parent \u201cSociety & Culture\u201d category).<\/p>\n

All of that’s happened because of people subscribing to my new feed, and because so far 11 new 5-star reviews have been left for me. To help anyone who wants to do either\u2014and both help me greatly\u2014I\u2019ve included the link below.<\/p>\n

Will I get back on the featured page of iTunes USA? I have no idea. But I\u2019ll be recording this coming week. That much is inevitable.<\/p>\n
