I have a cold, but I tried to edit this so it makes more sense. Sometimes I succeeded.<\/p>\n

I begin with a brief history update, then I tell you about an evening Nigel and I had recently. For the main topic today, I tell you about life in a place with a political and economic system that\u2019s different from my homeland\u2019s. New Zealand has a parliamentary democracy and it\u2019s a social democracy. I know that some of my fellow Americans would hate the idea of either, but other country\u2019s ways aren\u2019t necessarily worse or wrong. There are some aspects to New Zealand that even the rightest-of-right Americans would approve of.<\/p>\n
