Joining me today to discuss that is Julie Kruse of Immigration Equality, an organisation dedicated to changing the law and helping bi-national couples.<\/p>\n

Julie talks about the current state of the effort to change the law, as well as related issues. For example, how do issues like the Defense of Marriage Act affect immigration reform? How does the effort to make US immigration law treat GLBT people equally relate to comprehensive immigration reform? Ultimately, what’s the prospect for reforming US immigration law?<\/p>\n

For me, this was an interesting and informative talk about an issue that affects me personally. Unfortunately, I made an error in the audio settings and the sound isn’t as good as it could’ve been. This is an interview I really enjoyed doing.<\/p>\n
