AmeriNZ 93 – More moving to NZ and expats

Episode 93 is now available, and it’s free no matter where you get it from. You can listen to it or download it through the player at the bottom of this post, or subscribe for free through iTunes here (you must have the free iTunes player installed). You can also listen to it for free through the player on my MySpace page.

Today I tell you a bit more about moving to New Zealand, including some things I didn’t mention in Episode 92. Then, I talk a bit about being an expat, inspired by a recent article, and I finish up with some bits and pieces about the podcast and some things that happened recently.

  1. Hi Arthur,

Enjoyed the show. I guess I will not be moving to New Zealand after I retire, but I do have a solution. I could just come and visit you and Nigel for say, 20 years or so. How would that work?

I have gone back and downloaded the show with Monique Rhodes and will check it out soon. I did not see it in my itunes before.

Thanks for the comments on my last show. Let’s see, what is it called, o yes, My Gay Two Cents. Yea..free plug!

Someday, I do have to figure this skype thing so we can maybe do a show together. The Skype makes me nervous for some reason.

  2. 20 year house guests? Well, I suppose you could pitch a tent out back…

Seriously, I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually there was some sort of retirement immigration scheme. But it’ll be awhile yet.

I’d love to do a show together–so get cracking the Skype!

  3. Hi, Arthur – I was listening to your last few podcasts in a row so I don’t know if it was this post or the previous one where you talked about gay marriage in NZ. I wrote about a gay rights march in Albany, NY, which you can read, but I’m more interested in your reactions to the comments: http://blogs.timesunion.com/rogergreen/?p=58 BTW, I was a bit out of commission because of an accident: http://rogerowengreen.blogspot.com/2008/06/almost-another-ghost-bike.html
I tend to listen to you at work, because ever since my home computer got reconfigured a couple weeks ago, I haven’t had a chance to install iTunes or the like. Since I wasn’t at work for a week, I had seven or eight podcasts to listen to, at least two of them yours. Thanks again.
