AmeriNZ Video 03 – Auckland Christmas

For my third video, I thought I’d just show a few things from Auckland around Christmastime. This isn’t everything, obviously, but a few things that stand out for me. In the New Year, there will be more videos where I show you more of my Auckland.

Merry Christmas!

Note:

The file linked to this post is a revised version. The end of this video is silent due to a weird assertion over an incidental background music track.

  1. What beautiful scenery! (And the coasts aren’t too bad either!) It would be nice if shirtless guys would sell Christmas trees in Chicago, but its just a tiny bit too cold for that!

  2. In all honesty, one of the things that struck me about them was simply that it was possible to sell Christmas trees wearing nothing but shorts. A totally alien concept to me. If I’d had my wits about me that day, I would’ve done a proper interview, but that was a spur of the moment thing. You live and learn, though!

  3. Arthur,
We are usually dressed in shorts and hanging out by the pool here in LA just so we can send pics back to family in Chicago and Indiana. New Zealand is SO beautiful! I hope to visit one day. Thank you for sharing.

  4. After listening to your Pride 48 Saturday show I had to go to your site and watch this video again and I can’t believe I didn’t comment before – but the guy with the hat was so adorable!

I felt the same way when I was in Hawaii in December on vacation – felt so weird with the decorations and it was in the 80’s

Rest of the video was great and New Zealand looks so beautiful!
