AmeriNZ 220 – Getting things done

amerinz_podcast_150x150It’s a rainy day and a Monday, but I’m not down—even though it’s winter. I give you an update to the hooker and he bank. Then some Members of Parliament are in trouble over their spending. A Kiwi television show is about to be re-imagined for US television, so I talk about that and British programmes re-done for America. An Audioboo promo leads on to comments, and we’re done (btw, I screwed up the address, so click the link below).

  1. Actually, my greater concern about everything going paperless is the very real possibility that the infrastructure can be compromised by a cyberwar attack. This was just rerun on 60 Minutes this past weekend:
“Could foreign hackers get into the computer systems that run crucial elements of the world’s infrastructure, such as the power grids, water works or even a nation’s military arsenal, to create havoc? They already have.” http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=6578069n

  2. As much as I’m up on everything technology, I don’t pay any of my bills online. The boyfriend has had several issues with paying online and I’ve heard other issues to so I just stick to my checkbook and stamps.

I do, however, get my pay direct deposited. 🙂
