Don’t get excited: It’s been just over a year since my third video, and this is what you get after that long wait? Yep! I was trying out our new camera and decided to post some of the test so you can see a little of the area around our house. Plus, it’s summer here…

Three weeks: I think this may be the longest I’ve gone without recording a studio podcast (I’m too lazy to check that). I was extremely busy in November, and that even continued into December. Now I have a one more project to complete this week and things will ease up. Today I tell you why the country is called “New Zealand”, and how it has nothing to do with the letter “Z”. I also tell you about “zed” and “zee”. Two NZ news updates today, and I have a few written comments and a whole bucketload of voicemails. Twitter ends up being mentioned in several contexts (speaking of which, I have a new one called AmeriNZPodcast just for show updates.
There may be one or two AmeriNZ recorded podcasts before the end of the year, or early next year, but I’ll definitely be back after January 11. There’ll also be a new 2Political Podcast episode the last week of the year.

Okay, so this is longer than usual. In fact, it’s longer than I intended— a lot longer—but it’s the last live chat group show for the year. And about halfway through or so a special guest (Nigel!) joins us.
There was no particular topic for this show, and we talked about a lot of different things—some serious, some not. It was just a bunch of people having a conversation. The group this week included Steven in Wisconsin, Larken and Brother Cinaedus (unfortunately, Skype dropped him about halfway through).
