AmeriNZ 370 – Springing in the rain

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016This is a general sort of update today, starting with the inspiration for the title of this episode. After that, was last week as bad as I thought it might be?

Today I talk a bit about delays to my projects, one in particular, and why that particular one was so difficult for me to deal with.

AmeriNZ 369 – Change and Consistency

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Things have changed—a lot. That’s the main thing I talk about today.

At the end of the episode, I mention a project I began that’ll become a topic—eventually. Oh, and welcome to Spring!

AmeriNZ 368 – Sunshine

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Today is the last day of August, and the last day of winter in the Southern Hemisphere, and here I am with another podcast.

I begin today talking about how I took advantage of the sunshine, and then why it’s important. Then, I talk about a small thing kind of big deal thing that I did. After that, it’s talk about another way sunshine is important in New Zealand right now.

AmeriNZ 367 – Doing things

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Back again, after an unplanned break. I start this episode talking about how I got my second Covid Booster. Then I update where I’ve been, literally and figuratively. The unplanned break turned out to be a good thing. I also talk about a small project I took on since I last recorded.

AmeriNZ 366 – Expected results

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016I managed to complete an episode in June!!! Well, that’s something.

I give some advice to my fellow Americans in the wake of the Roe decision because I have a very particular perspective. Then, on to light topics. What happened to the project sorting files? Good things. What about that fatigue? More good things. Well, the first 12-months with my solar power system have passed, and the results outshine everything else I talked about. In my opinion.

AmeriNZ 365 – So, anyway…

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016There are reasons I’ve been away, and I talk about that today. FIrst though, I announce a delay in talking about the results of the first full year of solar power at my house. There’s a reason for that: I forgot something.

I changed the “theme” used on the AmeriNZ Podcast site to one that’s simpler and less cluttered. Hopefully it’ll also fix some of the problems I’ve had in recent months.

AmeriNZ 364 – Changes all around

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016This is the first episode of the sixteenth season of the AmeriNZ Podcast—sort of. There have been some changes to New Zealand’s response to Covid 19, and I talk about that first. Then, I talk about some changes closer to home—well, in my home, actually.

AmeriNZ 363 – Fifteen Years

Today is the Fifteenth Anniversary of the AmeriNZ Podcast! I’m as surprised as anyone that this anniversary has arrived.

Today I just talk about the podcast, the things that shaped the way the podcast changed over the years, and some of the challenges I face. I’ve never talked about a lot of this stuff, certainly not all in one place. It was only when I thought back on all this that I realised how much I’ve gone through to get to this point. Kinda proud of myself, to be honest.
