I mentioned how cars in New Zealand must have a Warrant of Fitness to prove that it’s mechanically sound. Well, as luck would have it, I took Nigel’s car in for its Warrant on Monday. The photo above is of various vehicles waiting for their inspection.

Whoops- just noticed mine is 2 months overdue!
I hope they don’t deport me…
That’s happened to me, and I’m still here: Last time my car needed a warrant, it had expired by a bit. It’s due again next week, and I intended to make sure that THIS time I get it done one time!
BTW, if you go to a place like On Road, as I clearly did, you can set it up so they’ll send you a reminder email a couple weeks in advance. That really helps!
