Image EDITThe second episode of 2Political! After special news, a phone message lets us talk a bit more about earmarks. When did they become so bad? Are the Republicans right? Or can earmarks be good? We have even more comments to discuss. If you have something you’d like to see us discuss, or you have a question, feel free to leave a comment, send us an email or ring the AmeriNZ comment line (there’ll be a separate one eventually!) on 206-666-5172. The next episode of 2Political will be in 2 weeks.

  1. No doubt many earmarks are for legit items. They are opposed by me because of the process. I want a bill that says it’s going to do x, y, and z, but it’s not the way the game’s been played in DC. Guess I want all the transparency stuff this past election was supposed to be about. Call me an idealist.

  2. Another great show and enjoyed the discussion on earmarks.

I enjoyed the part about ticket costs for concerts as well. I was doing some cleaning and found a ticket stub for my first concert that I went to that was out of state. I went to see Billy Joel in 1984 and the ticket price was $14.50 and if I went to see him today with Elton John the tickets range from $53 and up!
