AmeriNZ 299 – Resumption

Today’s episode is all about catching up on what I’ve missed over the past few episodes. It clears the decks so that we can just carry on from here.

First up, I talk a bit about marriage equality in New Zealand (and a little bit beyond…). Comments and questions prompted this segment.

Next up, it’s all about the feedback I received regarding my comments about Pride 48. Wow! Quite a lot of responses! I appreciate every one, and I respond to them. Thanks for the feedback!!

Well, we’re all caught up now; let’s move forward, eh?

There are several ways to send me an audio message—this earlier post lists them. (http://amerinzpodcast.com/?p=1549)

Please leave a written comment, an audio message using the SpeakPipe widget, or on Audioboo or Skype (user name on both is AmeriNZ), or send an email to arthur{at]amerinzpodcast.com (you can email me an audio file, too, if you want).

  1. First….thank you for the birthday wishes. Second…I agree with you about Pride48. I feel the same way. I listen and enjoy the shows but it’s changed and that’s fine. I don’t think my type of podcast is really the kind of thing for Pride48. Years ago, before the changes in my podcast, it was perfect for the type of podcast I used to have and it worked well. Just not now. And I’m also glad to hear you aren’t leaving podcasting. After that last show, I had my doubts but glad to hear your voice will still be around. You know how much I appreciate your views and love to hear them. 🙂

  2. Hey Arthur,
Thanks for answering my question about the difference between Civil Unions and Marriage in New Zealand. I agree on the adoption of children issue. It’s just not a choice on the table for us as well. I’m anxiously awaiting the Supreme Court ruling on both Prop 8 and DOMA with worry in my heart.
