  1. 1. At least around here, some people continue to wear masks, even amid diminishing requirements. NYS stopped requiring them on transportation in the last couple of weeks.

    2. ABSOLUTELY, things seemingly unrelated to an event will trigger a reaction. For me, it usually involves music.

  2. The MInistry of Health also dropped the daily case number updates and now does it weekly. By thenm they’d already started promoting on the weekly “rolling average” as a better indicator because daily numbers fluctuated so much. But the newsmedia doesn’t give nearly as much reporting to that weekly report that they did to the former daily report.
