For the first time in my life, I don’t know if I should vote, and it’s all the fault of some New Zealand christianist fundamentalists. They’re a teeny, tiny minority in New Zealand, but they managed to put up a stupid referendum that will cost taxpayers millions for nothing. First, I update some New Zealand news from last time, and add a couple new stories.

This 67-page report documents a wide-reaching campaign of extrajudicial executions, kidnappings, and torture of gay men that began in early 2009.
I voted “yes” because I was as cheesed off as you are and for the same reasons. Since I sent it in, got a great suggestion from a friend- send the damned thing back blank. I wish I had.
ps- I did write comments on mine too though objecting to the whole process and cost.
