AmeriNZ 409 – The holidays were good

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016I had good holidays this year because I actually had some this year! I was alone on Christmas last year, and I’ve almost always seen in the New Year alone, but this year I was with the family. I have a lot of little chores I plan to get done over the next couple of weeks, during what’s the quietest time of the year. I forgot to mention that I had another series of “Ask Arthur” blog posts last month. (link below).

AmeriNZ 408 – The year winds down

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Today was predicted to be the hottest day of the summer so far, and it was for some areas. I haven’t done much since the last episode, mostly routine stuff, but sometimes that, too, is my life, One thing I did was fix this site, so there’s that.

AmeriNZ 404 – My day of labour

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016New Zealand’s Labour Day Holiday was this past Monday, and I laboured—and laboured. I’m plotting—sorry, planning a new project that—well, we’ll see. Finally, I have a lighthearted way to end the episode.

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Today’s episode begins with a tale of frustration: I have to take care of something that Nigel always used to look after. The new road actually opened! Leo and I had an adventure.

AmeriNZ 387 – Fading month

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016Six weeks in a row—and one full month—without missing a week. Who am I?! I’ve been busy “adulting” over the past week, especially changing electricity suppliers, something that took a surprising amount of my own energy. I persevered. Then I talk about something I thought might have happened by today, but it didn’t, so I talk about the non-event and why it will be so important once it does happen. That’s it for June!

AmeriNZ 376 – Bad time for a break

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016This year isn’t very old, but so much has happened already! The prime minister resigned, we got a new one, and there have been a lot of bad storms. If I hadn’t already been taking a break, I’d need one now!

AmeriNZ 375 – Year’s end

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016It’s the end of 2022! I took advantage of my last opportunity to record in December and 2022 to do a little update episode. I’m not exactly sad to see 2022 go, but I’m definitely better than I was a year ago tonight. That’s a very good thing.

AmeriNZ 374 – Forging ahead

amerinz_podcast_1400x1400-2016The weather has been shocking lately, and that’s interrupted my outside projects. I begin today’s episode talking about that, and a bit about the background to all the outside work. Then I move on to a completed project—yes, it happens sometimes. Even I’m surprised. After that, it’s a couple bits in the New Zealand news.
